The decorations above the doors represent weapons and trophies, while the marble busts of the queens of the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies are displayed on the consoles. The room is illuminated by golden bronze chandeliers from the early 19th century, made by Neapolitan craftsmen. The vault is decorated with “The Glory of the Prince and the Twelve Provinces of the Kingdom” by Girolamo Starace Franchis.
Even the floor, made with the encaustic technique, is a faux marble, a characteristic Neapolitan artisanal work. The central decoration on the vault depicts “The Arms of the House of Bourbon Supported by the Virtues“. The busts of the queens are Maria Carolina of Austria, Maria Isabella of Bourbon, Maria Cristina of Savoy, and Maria Sophia of Bavaria.
